God Forgives

I don't believe in or support abortion, but I do believe that God forgives.  Everyday babies are born out of wedlock and unplanned pregnancies.  Personally, I think mothers in that position should not abort their child.  Babies are not capable of making their own decisions or having a say.  I believe they deserve a chance at life.  Just because I feel this way doesn't mean everyone else does.  Everyday babies are aborted because they were created out of wedlock and they were unplanned.  I think it's sad and unfair.  However, I do believe moms deserve a chance as well.  Babies are not mistakes, but they come here because of two people's choices.  Maybe these moms could learn from their past decisions and make better ones.  In no form or fashion am I supporting abortion, but I do believe that God forgives.

  1. I love how you've acknowledged that other people may see this issue differently than you do. It builds your own credibility, showing you've seriously considered the issue from multiple viewpoints, making me take your viewpoint seriously.

That said, I personally agree with you. There is no sin too savage that God would turn His back on us and deny us His mercy. After all, we humans are pitiful creatures, capable of unspeakable atrocities.

  2. I agree, as well. Even though we make mistakes God has a plan for everyone of us. When we make mistakes God turns our mistakes around for the better. Having sex before marriage is a choice you make. So, if you get pregnant, God allowed it to happen so obviously he has a plan for the child and for the parents. Whether it be resulting in adoption or keeping it, it will all turn out great in the end.

  3. I do agree, God would not turn his back on any human, regardless of sin. It's also my belief that you should forgive one another, whether they call you a name, or attempt to kill off an entire race. Forgiveness is not equal to punishment, as so many people seem to think. I really like your statements about other peoples views, it's good to acknowledge others opinions. Great!

  4. Thank you for commenting, ladies! I appreciate it. I'm really pleased to see that others are open minded with their opinions on forgiveness. As Christians, we are called to forgive, just as we are forgiven. As a human, it is hard for me to forgive others when they have hurt me. However, God forgives us for our sin every single day. We don't deserve that at all. How wonderful is it to have such a merciful God to send His own son to the cross for our sin? Thanks again for reading!
